Special moments

My daughter has a little girlfriend over to play today. For lunch they made tuna salad,
fresh fruit and I gave them the depression ware and good glassware. Daughter set
the table with pretty placemats and matching napkins. Everyone else ate earlier, so
they are enjoying a quiet luncheon together. I hear their secret whispers and think of
Anne of Green Gables, perhaps I should hide my strawberry wine......

Dove,

Glad you are having good and lasting times with the young ones.  Anne of Green Gables, wow I love it.

Keep me posted on how you are doing.

I think of you often and periodically check your blog to see how things are going.

What a special memory for your little girl. I'm so happy that you are able to savor the moment and wish I could invite you over for our own special tea... No strawberry wine on hand, but I made some wonderful flourless chocolate cake this afternoon to take along when we got to see #3 son for the weekend. A delicious recipe that's gluten-free on purpose!

All the best...love to the folks,
